1940’s Wooden 27″ Track Wheelset
Cerchio Ghisallo/ Durkopp Track Wheelset
Handcrafted with upmost attention to detail, and finished as a seamless work of art. STERIK’S wheel builder Stefan Mortveit specializes in working with wooden rims. This style of track wheel and technologies date back to the early – mid 1900’s. Specialty ordered in 27″ (630 BSD), the Beechwood rims were made by master carpenter Antonio Cermenati in Magreglio, Italy. Tensioned to 85KGF and true as an arrow, these wheels will stand the tests of time.
A true representation of historic cycling handcraftmanship. Manufactured in 1940’s, the Durkopp track hubs feature steel construction, chrome finish, and oil ports. A fantastic technology and often the mark of competition use. Complete with elegant, white, 1″ high pressure road tires.
