1950’s Wooden 27″ Track Wheelset
Cerchio Ghisallo/ British Hub Co. Airlite Track Wheelset
Handcrafted with upmost attention to detail, and finished as a seamless work of art. STERIK’S wheel builder Stefan Mortveit specializes in working with wooden rims. This style of track wheel and technologies date back to the early – mid 1900’s. Specialty ordered in 27″ (630 BSD), the Beechwood rims were made by master carpenter Antonio Cermenati in Magreglio, Italy. Tensioned to 85KGF and true as an arrow, these wheels will stand the tests of time.
A true representation of historic cycling handcraftmanship. The British Hub Co. Airlite’s feature chromed steel barrels, with polished aluminum flanges. In perfect condition considering their age (1950’s), and complete with new old stock Gripfast wing nuts.
